These are examples of naturally occurring trance and through my sessions I will guide you through a relaxation technique to achieve this hypnotic state. You remain awake and in control, it is a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. In this state of trance your subconscious mind becomes more receptive to beneficial suggestions, accepting directions to promote positive change. As a client, you need to want the change to happen and be willing to undertake a course of sessions, thereby working with me to bring about that change. I specialise in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy thereby concentrating on solutions to the problems rather than taking you back over the past. During the initial consultation I will explain how our mind works and how we have the ability to stop thinking negatively and look forward to a more positive life and have control over our thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy generally works very quickly compared with many other therapies and the number of sessions needed depends on the areas to be addressed.
Issues involving depression, anxiety and stress usually take between 6 – 8 sessions. Phobias, motivation, public speaking and examination nerves can usually be dealt with in 3-4 sessions.
